LANE Media & Productions envelops the pursuit of passion and embodies the quest of following dreams. Our artists have produced content for fortune 500 companies, NBA superstars, musical artists, the Joffrey Ballet, and Caterpillar, among others, demonstrating our ability to adapt and to continually create engaging and impactful media. And, we’re just getting started.  Jack LanePresident, LANE Media & Productions Jack brings seven years of profitable, online marketing experience to LANE Media & Productions. Understanding that online video is the future of the Internet, Jack set his goals on creating an affordable HD video production house and marketing group catering to businesses and professional groups. As the Director of Marketing at a video production company, Jack recognized the influence of engaging online video and, given the right distribution channels, the power it has to build real relationships with large audiences. Collaborating Studiosrick_wayneExecutive Creative Director, Underscore_Films, LLC Underscore Films, LLC is a creative media production company that excels at generating innovative and imaginative content. Underscore Films creates all forms of both moving and still imagery from creative conceptualization through final production. They are built upon a foundation of creativity and modernization in order to provide the most contemporary product available. Founder rick_wayne is a world-wide, award winning film maker who has produced projects ranging from Hollywood music videos to NBA film documentaries featuring 7-time All-Star Tracy McGrady. Underscore Films, LLC wide range of productions include private, professional and corporate events and have been featured in film festivals throughout the United States. LANE Media & Productions’ ArtistsKacper SkowronVideographer/ Director of Photography Kacper Skowron, a Polish born cinematographer/operator with BFA in Film from Columbia College Chicago started as a photographer. This experience gave him invaluable basis and quickly jump started his professional career. He was privileged to work on commercials, music videos, features and documentaries. He has captured exceptional images from many continents and has worked for well known TV shows such as the Oprah Winfrey Show and the Discovery Channel. Skowron’s perfectionism, curiosity and unstoppable self-challenge along with positive attitude motivate him to extend the ability of his camera, which allows him to produce great images. Andrew J Morgan Videographer / Director of Photography Andrew J Morgan is a Chicago based videographer and director of photography. His experience in film making takes on all forms including: narrative, documentary, corporate, and industrial styles. Andrew is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago where he earned his BA in film and video with a specific concentration in the realm of cinematography and camera work. He is well versed in all formats of shooting including film and high definition video and his passion for being behind the camera is unmatched. In his personal time, Andrew pursues creative endeavors on a regular basis, many times writing, producing, and shooting his own passion projects. Max Gould-Meisel Director/Videographer Max has a deep passion for film directing. He is a diligent, dedicated, shrewd, and creative filmmaker with an eye for cinematic landscapes. He has been accepted to numerous festivals including Columbia's Take 1 Film Festival where he took second place overall, out of 80+ entries. He works mainly in narrative filmmaking, with experience in sound, camera, lighting and production departments. He was apart of the documentation of Chicago’s U.S. Open Squash Championship in Sept '09, has been on over 20+ student and independent film sets. His professional goal is the formation of a creative team of filmmakers to share his passion for enlightened creativity. Shane Collins Videographer/ Director of Photography As a graduate from the Cinematography program at Columbia College Chicago, Shane has the skills and resources to tackle any project with ease. His passion for film making, combined with his creative and technical skills for the craft, allow him to bring the highest level of production value to any project. Broadcast television, corporate and legal videography experience has prepared him for any style of shoot. Balancing a creative eye, passion for film making, and steadfast knowledge of the production process is essential to the value of any project, and this where Shane excels. Jim MacNichol Editor/Motion Graphics Jim is an overall post-production guru, but specializes in non-linear editing and motion graphics. He has an experienced background that is legitimized by a degree with honors from Columbia College Chicago, six years of experience in video editing with industry standard programs such as Final Cut Studio, Avid, Pro Tools, and After Effects; excellent project-management skills, and a great eye for detail. Editing can make a break or a film, TV show, or commercial and he has a strong passion and love for the entire process involved in such a task. CJ Arellano Editor/Motion Graphics C.J. ARELLANO is a film and video editor living in Chicago. Since earning a Film/Video degree from Columbia College Chicago, he has provided post-production services to clients as diverse as the Joffrey Ballet, Yelp, the Dartmouth College Gospel Choir, Victory Gardens Theatre, the National Science Foundation, and VeeV Liqueurs. A feature-length documentary he edited, 'Fish Out of Water,' won Best Documentary at the 2009 Reeling Film Festival and is now available for purchase on Amazon. A film he wrote/directed/edited, 'Parasitic,' won 1st Prize at Chicago Filmmakers' Citywide Film Showcase. He believes in the power of visual storytelling, in all its forms, to expand horizons. Alex Jones Editor/Motion Graphics Alex is an editor and motion graphics artist who has been working on projects for nine years. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago, Jones has worked on a multitude of different pieces over the years ranging from short films, features, instructional videos, promotional spots, documentaries, etc. His passion for this craft grows with each new project and challenge he comes across. Alex believes the best feeling is when a client sees their vision has been realized; and if it hasn’t been or if the footage doesn’t allow for it anymore, then a new approach is found. Alex is the guy behind the guy with the camera, making it all come together into a seamless, distinguishable and impactful video for the client. |
